BHBi recognised by  IIA inc for External Quality Assessments

BHBi is delighted to announce that it has recently been recognised by the IIA inc--the global professional Internal Audit body-- as a provider of External Quality Assessments.
The introduction of the global IIA Standards in 2001 set out the requirement for Internal Audit units to undergo an external quality assessment (EQA) every 5 years.
With 2006  upon us, many professionals will be wrestling with how to comply with this mandatory requirement within the time period deadline of 1st January 2007.
BHBi Director of Strategic Operations, Paul Haley said," We follow the IIA's Quality Assessment framework and will provide customers with a forward-looking continual

improvement plan."
The EQA process facilitates an internal review, a survey of the audit team members, client survey, a benchmark exercise against worldwide internal audit teams, and against the IIA's Code of Ethics & Professional Standards.
Many Members have expressed concern over the issue of compliance when working in audit teams that choose not to comply.
Paul Haley added, "We have set up a FREE PHONE helpline to offer a FREE 30-minute consultation to anyone who wants to know more about this mandatory requirement."
